Molecular diffusion and fusion
When uncured silicone rubber comes into contact, its macromolecular chains penetrate and diffuse each other through thermal motion, forming intermolecular cavities and chain segment entanglement. Over time, the two layers of film gradually fuse into one. This molecular-level diffusion is the core mechanism of self-adhesive silicone rubber. ‌

Formula to enhance self-adhesiveness
By adding additives such as boron-modified MQ silicone resin, the intermolecular interaction force can be enhanced, the fusion time can be extended, and the adhesion can be enhanced. For example, adding boron-modified MQ resin to vinyl silicone rubber substrate can significantly improve the interlayer fusion strength and temperature resistance. ‌
